Located in the heart of the small village of Aste-Béon, in the Ossau Valley, you’ll discover the pastoral life of the Béarn Pyrenees (sheep’s milk cheeses). This village is known for its vulture cliff, right next to the cottage. You’ll be able to spot griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures, bearded vultures, and other birds of prey—don’t forget your binoculars! The house is unique, built on several levels, which gives it its charm and character. A lovely surprise awaits you: the garden tucked away behind the house, a pleasant, tree-lined space where you can relax and enjoy al fresco dining on sunny days. Numerous marked hiking trails start from the cottage (including a route to Santiago de Compostela), with loops of varying difficulty levels suitable for everyone.

Its multi-level design gives it a unique charm, complemented by a lovely garden with trees, perfect for relaxing.
Fully equipped kitchen, dining area overlooking the garden, and a lounge/dining room with a wood-burning stove. On the first floor: a mezzanine with a single bed and a shower room, a large bedroom with a 160 bed and a covered balcony, a shower room/WC, and a reading corner. On the second floor: a bedroom with a 140 bed and an adjoining sleeping area with two single beds, ideal for children, with a play area.
