Bescat, at the top of the moraine
Bescat is a peaceful village perched on the front moraine of the valley.
It offers panoramic views of the foothills and the Pic du Midi d'Ossau. 
Beautiful old houses are grouped together on the hillside. 
An outstanding feature of the village is the 17th-century church of Saint Lizier and its altarpieces.
