Brands & Labels

Tourism Quality

In order to continuously improve customer service and the quality of tourism services in France, the government has created the Qualité Tourisme™ label.

This label selects and brings together under a single symbol quality initiatives aimed at customer satisfaction in: hotels, tourist residences, holiday villages, campsites, restaurants, cafés and brasseries, seasonal rental agencies, tourist offices, visitor attractions and outdoor activities.

What are French tourism professionals committed to?

We are therefore committed to upholding the values of the Qualité Tourisme™ brand on a daily basis and to ensuring:  A warm welcome

- Proficiency in foreign languages
- Personalised services
- Up-to-date, clear and accurate information
- Cleanliness and comfort in our reception areas
- Promotion of our destination and its tourist attractions
- Consideration of your opinions, suggestions and complaints

We are here to help: leave us a message and we will get back to you!

What guarantees does the Qualité Tourisme™ label offer?

To obtain the Qualité Tourisme™ label, service providers must successfully complete a quality assessment process in line with the National Quality Commitments, which represent the essential requirements for customer satisfaction.

Qualité Tourisme™-certified professionals are attentive to customer feedback thanks to the systematic analysis of satisfaction surveys and complaints. Their services are regularly subject to unannounced and independent inspections.

These procedures enable professionals to continuously improve their services in order to better satisfy tourists.
The standards are available on the brand's official website. They are updated annually.
New activities may be added by decision of the brand's national management committee. They are listed on the brand's official website and are included in the specifications during any annual updates.

Tourism and Disabilities

Created in 2001 to provide reliable and objective information on the accessibility of tourist sites and facilities, it takes into account four types of disability (motor, visual, mental and auditory).
The national label is awarded by the National Association ‘Tourism & Disability’ after consultation with the Regional Commission. It can be awarded for two, three or four disabilities for a period of five years after signing the charter of commitment.
The process of obtaining the label applies to all tourism professionals who wish to commit to welcoming their customers in the best possible conditions and in complete autonomy.
