Parking regulations in Bious-Artigues.
From 1 June to 30 September 2024, parking attendants will be on hand in Bious to enforce the new parking rules.

Bious-Artigues car park

Accessible to light vehicles, motorhomes over 5 metres long are not permitted.
Open from 7am to 5pm on weekdays and from 7am to 7pm at weekends.
Price: €7

Bious-Oumette car park

Accessible at all times to all types of vehicle.
Pay from 7am to 5pm
Price: €4
Payment : bank card, cash, cheque

Special cases of free parking

  • Disabled parking card holders: in the upper car park until all spaces are available.
  • Public transport passengers
  • Permanent residents of a commune that owns the site (Bielle, Bilhères and Laruns): request for free parking ONLY at Bious-Oumettes.
This request should be sent to manifestations@laruns.fr or handed in at Laruns Town Hall reception.

It includes :

  • Proof of principal residence in one of these 3 communes
  • A copy of the vehicle registration document corresponding to the request (identical name)
  • An e-mail address for sending the pass after validation by the President of the Commission Syndicale Bielle-Bilhères.
  • The pass must be printed, presented to the ushers and placed on the windscreen.
  • This request is also valid for Ossau Valley mountain professionals (business card instead of proof of address).

Beneficiaries 

Nothing has changed for pastoral activities.
The pass giving access to the track must still be presented to the ushers.

Reminder

Camping is prohibited throughout the site, including the car parks (National Park core zone).
Campervans and converted vehicles may only be parked during the day.
Bivouacs are prohibited in the vicinity of the Gentau and Bious-Artigues lakes (municipal by-laws in force and visible on site).
