Lys, village of the Pyrenean foothills
Lys was a hamlet of Sainte-Colome until 1858, the easternmost village in the valley, on the road to Nay and Lourdes.
It offers beautiful views of the Pyrenean foothills and the plain of gave de Pau.
It is a village consisting of many districts of farms or old farms, typical Béarnaise houses and old noble houses.
It houses a plantier where the traditional game of nine-pin bowling is practiced. Even today, many competitions are held.
