Discover St. Martin d’Arberoue, a hidden gem of the Basque Country located just 30 minutes from the Basque coast. Nestled in the heart of Gaztelu Hill, the Isturitz and Oxocelhaya Caves await you with their 600 metres of fascinating passages.
Delve into the mysteries of human history, brought to life in the present.
With evidence of human presence dating back 80,000 years, these caves are a benchmark in Europe.
A single guided tour will allow you to discover both underground treasures: the Isturitz Cave, a rich archaeological site and home to cave engravings, and, 15 metres below, the Oxocelhaya Cave, a surprising natural wonder with its millennia-old stalactites and stalagmites.
