Les Eaux-Chaudes Spa

Open from 4 May to 24 October 2026

The thermal waters used for treatments are drawn directly from the source and piped to the spa at a combined temperature of 33°C and 34°C.
They originate from two springs at the heart of the GOURZY and BOUERZY mountain ranges, from which they take their names.
These waters are sulphurous, silicate-rich, calcium- and magnesium-rich, and contain traces of helium.
Thanks to their natural analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, they are used to treat both respiratory conditions and rheumatic disorders.
Come and enjoy the benefits of the thermal waters as part of our 6- or 18-day treatment programmes.

A spa treatment is prescribed by a doctor and is covered by the National Health Service.
It lasts for 18 days. You must apply to your health insurance fund for coverage.
The reimbursement varies depending on your income or personal circumstances and the condition you are suffering from.

Treatments

Respiratory tract / ENT

The ENT system (nose, throat, ear) plays a protective role against infectious agents that threaten the respiratory tract. Most of the time, our immune system is sufficient to defend us, but there are occasions when it is overwhelmed. The thermal gases of Les Eaux-Chaudes have a proven effect in the treatment of the upper respiratory tract (rhinitis, laryngitis, ear infections, asthma, etc.), both in terms of prevention and their immediate action in soothing attacks, as well as through their deep and lasting effects.
Childhood asthma appears to respond very well to sulphur treatment, even from the very first course of treatment.

Rheumatic conditions

Rheumatic conditions are a type of inflammatory disease characterised by pain in the back and joints (knees, hips, etc.) and can be divided into three groups based on the form and type of condition: inflammatory, degenerative and chronic inflammatory. These conditions include osteoarthritis, polyarthritis, spondyloarthritis, fibromyalgia, etc.
Spa treatments offer non-pharmacological alternatives to relieve pain but are, above all, a combination of curative and preventive treatment for rheumatic conditions.
