Come and discover Asson Zoo, nestled at the foot of the majestic Pyrenees, where unspoilt wilderness invites you to enjoy an unforgettable getaway with family or friends.
As you stroll along its paths, you’ll be amazed by its iconic residents, such as Radjah the white tiger, the adorable red pandas, the elegant snow leopards and the surprising pygmy hippos.
But that’s not all! The zoo is also home to a multitude of other fascinating species – over a hundred in total – guaranteeing a complete change of scenery with every visit.
Since its creation in 1964, the zoo has continually reinvented itself to offer its visitors ever more enriching experiences.
Every year, new immersive areas are created, transforming a simple visit into a fun and educational adventure.
For the most passionate visitors, the park even offers special, intimate experiences where you can step into the shoes of an animal keeper and discover the behind-the-scenes life of the zoo’s residents.

Open all year round, every day.
From 1 January to 31 March, 10am to 6pm.
From 1 April to 30 September, 10am to 7pm.
From 1 October to 31 December, 10am to 6pm.
Open on public holidays.
