Treat yourself to a timeless escape with our “My First Bivouac” experience: two days to reconnect with what truly matters, learn new skills, explore, and fully immerse yourself in nature.

Guided by experienced instructors, this mini-adventure introduces you to the basics of bivouacking in complete safety: setting up camp, cooking outdoors, navigating without digital tools, and moving in harmony with the environment.

Between pitching your tent, exploring the surroundings, observing wildlife, and sharing friendly moments over meals, you’ll learn the essential skills to bivouac responsibly… and enjoy a magical night under the stars.

Open to adults and teenagers, this experience is perfect for anyone seeking an authentic, simple, and rejuvenating getaway.


🗺️ Program

Over these two days, you will learn how to:

  • Choose the right location and set up your camp (tent, space organization)

  • Navigate using a map, compass, and natural landmarks

  • Discover outdoor cooking: stove use, simple meals, water management (and controlled fire if permitted)

  • Understand bivouac regulations and best practices

  • Minimize your impact: waste management, respect for wildlife and flora

  • Develop teamwork, independence, and cooperation

  • Observe the surrounding nature (chamois, marmots, birds of prey…)


🥾 Level & Conditions

  • Level: Easy (suitable for casual walkers)

  • Elevation gain: approx. +300 m (day 1) / -300 m (day 2)

  • Walking time: 3 to 5 hours per day

  • Terrain: tracks, paths, and trails (possibly rocky, no technical difficulty)

👉 Regular walking practice is recommended.
👉 Carrying a backpack can be demanding: a good level of fitness is required.

Comfort:

  • Overnight stay in a tent with sleeping mat

  • Washing in a natural environment (stream nearby)

  • No sanitary facilities on site

✨ The level can be adapted depending on your group and objectives.
