Presentation

The National Park is an exceptional natural territory. In the Ossau Valley, nearly 8000 ha constitute the heart of this preserved area. In July and August, the park rangers offer a program of discovery of the park (fauna, flora, pastoralism) and meeting points on the ground for free discussions and to observe directly the birds of prey, marmots, isards.... Free visits of the House of the National Park of Laruns are possible during the opening hours: exhibition fauna, flora, life in altitude, projection of films. A program of temporary exhibitions and conferences on nature, culture and heritage is organized during the summer.
