On the road to the Col du Pourtalet
From May to October, it is very likely that you take this road towards the Col du Pourtalet to take the Train d'Artouste.A few sites are worth mentioning for easy hikes:
- Around the lake of Bious-Artigues
- The circus of Anéou
- The walk along the gave du Brousset to Pont de Camps
You will appreciate to take the height to admire the Ossau or other surrounding peaks and to approach effortlessly the high valley pastures where grows an endemic flora that dresses the summer of blue, yellow, silver these green plateaus.
